Movember and Men’s Health
Our Team Leader of Health & Wellbeing, Craig, participated in the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride on Sunday May 17th. This is a global event for dapper motorcycle riders to gather and ride to raise money for Movember and Men’s Health. The local ride starts in Noosa and finishes at the Apollonian Hotel in Boreen Point. Beginning in 2012 this event is now held in more than 100 countries, with many thousands of stylish riders generating around $100M dollars for men’s health research in that time. Craig has been involved since 2016 and this year he raised over $350, making him the tenth highest donation generator for the local ride. Several Buderim Men’s Shed members were on his donor list and he thanks them.
‘This event combines two of my personal drivers: motorcycling and men’s health’, said Craig, ‘And this year we managed to avoid the rain making it far more enjoyable and allowing us to display our dapper credentials.’
